‘The Qatari-Omani joint business entrepreneurs meeting’ in Doha on April 11 and 12, 2018, will be organised under the patronage of HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC).

The event will be held in collaboration with Modern Talent, an Omani-based company that specialises in organising events and conferences.

The meeting is within the framework of GOIC’s endeavours to strengthen industrial and commercial cooperation and coordination between GCC countries.

The business meet aims at encouraging industrial and commercial partnerships to contribute to economic development in the two countries by promoting cooperation between Qatari and Omani businessmen and investors.

It also introduces the various characteristics and scopes of investment opportunities in Qatar and Oman to help young entrepreneurs to innovate and boost all forms of investments.

The meeting will also discuss the benefit from unlimited human and natural capabilities, to promote economic relations in various fields, to encourage partnerships between factory owners and experts in both countries and to facilitate Qatari and Omani businessmen’s investment ventures in Qatar and Oman. Moreover, the meeting will present an opportunity to stimulate Qatari-Omani economic relations to increase commercial exchange in line with the expectations of the two countries.

The meeting will mainly look into key economic sectors like heavy industries, logistics, tourism, technology and software, real estate, hospitals and healthcare, gas and its derivatives, food industries, agriculture and livestock.

The main themes of the meeting include: strengthening commercial exchange, contributing to economic development of both countries, investing in the sectors of technology and communications and discussing investment opportunities.
