‘The Monkey Buffet’ is the monkey’s festival. Its main purpose is to attract tourists to Prang Sam Yot in Lop Buri. Hundreds of monkeys will take a good time roaming around the city.

8.It’s the most famous city

It doesn’t only have the longest name but it’s also very popular. According to MasterCard’s annual Global Destination Cities Index, it has been declared as the most visited city in the world in 2013.

9.Don’t remove your shirt

While Thailand might be known for its relaxed beach vibe, going shirtless is actually an offense. So going shirtless is a big no-no.

 

10.Cleaning after dark

Thai people consider it bad luck if you clean your house after it’s dark. So it’s better that you do all the cleaning before the sun sets.

11.Don’t raise your voice

Raising your voice in Thailand is an embarrassing loss of face. Keep calm even if you’re losing your cool.

12.The language

The Thai alphabet has 44 consonants and 32 vowels. That’s really a mouthful!
