The ancient Chinese medicine is also known for its herbal medicine and different types of dietary therapy. It is also a very effective way of therapy and it has been spread to other countries.
Our today’s topic is how to press a certain point of the body in order to relieve anxiety and stress. This is called acupressure. This exercise will help you with increased heart rate and shallow breathing.
THE POINT THAT WILL REDUCE YOUR ANXIETY
This point is known as CV 17 and it is located 4 fingers above the base of your breastbone, directly at the center of your chest.
This CV 17 spot is also known as Sea of Traquility.
Massage up and down the center of your breastbone with your fingertips and find the small indents. When you will find the indent the healing process will begin.
- Sit with your spine straighten and put your palms in a praying position with your fingers up.
- With the thumb and the back knuckles press the CV 17 point.
- Close your eyes.
- Breathe deeply and relax.
- You head and back should be straight but relaxed.
Practice this exercise for 2-3 minutes and in this time your mind and heart rate will relax. In order to completely feel the benefits, repeat this 2-3 times per day.
